Blog Tour Information

This book kept me gripped throughout. You are placed directly at the scene of a murder and follow the investigation police officer, Lena undertakes, including the twist and turns and being led into the murky world of politics and crime. This is the first book I have read as part of The Oslo Detectives and I thoroughly enjoyed it, so much I purchased the rest of the books.

The main character you follow is Lena, she is at a stage of her life when she is successful in her job, but not so much in her love life. She also recieves the complicated news that she is ill and some how this has to fit it into her busy work life. You almost feel that because she is always competing against the males in her workplace, the cancer is purely an inconvenience that does not fit in with her life.

Kjell’s writing is amazing as it keeps you tense throughout and you just never know where it is going to end and who is going to be arrested for the murder. Also, Lena soon becomes involved in the case but not in an investigation way but her life could potentially be at risk. But, who wants to kill her and why?

If you like your crime books, this should be on your book shelf.
